Migrating

After almost ten years with the old interface I decided to move on. My blog had been upgraded from version 5 of Squarespace to a much leaner version 7. The new site would be pure diary. Hence the name being harisrahman.blog.

I still retain the old site since it kept a treasure trove of writing about my family as we grew. It was too precious to migrate sunblock although the new site has all the copies. I also retain the old site since it was linked to my G Suite service for my email client as well as my Bitly link. It was too complicated to move those across as well.

So, as I mentioned, the new site will be purely blog. For the more photo intense entries, it would go to fotobyharis.com.

I am still fine tuning the new page and it would evolve from time to time as I get myself familiar with the new service. So far, I found that the page was cleaner and the upload and downloads smoother. It could do with a bit more plug-ins but that would have to wait. I haven't even decided on the landing page even ...
