240321 Diary

Business as usual today although it looked to be a long one in the diary. A typical Thursday meant that there was no clinic, but I had a few meetings to attend.

After some paperwork following the morning rounds, I had a sit down meeting during lunch - no food today unfortunately. Then there was an online meeting to keep up to date on our MSH Conference progress. After that was done, it was time for another rounds followed by a short drive into town.

I had a meeting which would lead to berbuka pause this evening at KL Sentral which would start at 6 pm. Luckily, it took me under half an hour to get there - fearing the rush hour traffic. And I got there by 5.30, in plenty of time before the talk started.

The speaker was Prof Mohamed Mohty, a well-renown transplanter and he touched on how to manage difficult transplant situation. Prof Monty was on a whirlwind trip, having to get to the airport that evening to catch a flight to Paris in time to celebrate his wife's birthday on Sunday!

A great talk though with great food. Unfortunately, being a sit-down dinner, it did not hit the spot. I would have preferred a buffet for berbuka, but at least the organiser made sure that the talk concluded in time for Maghrib.
