Now that my break was over, I was back to work. And as expected, the work was mounting! Luckily there was no clinic today - saving that mayhem to tomorrow.

I managed to complete most of tasks in the morning and was planning for an easy afternoon while doing a meeting to plan the upcoming MSH Conference. But at around 2.30, Anita called saying that she had terrible pain on the right side of her body. She was struggling and I drove back to pick her up for checks at the ER.

Her X-ray looks fine and the tender spot seemed to be at the lower ribs. It was really puzzling. Her urine test also did not come back with any issues.

So, we are trying some painkiller, and since she had been having cough and fever lately, we were trying her on antibiotics since the cough in the last few days may have aggravated the pain. It seemed to be muscular in nature but she may need more tests later.

While she was waiting for her reports, I managed to finish my rounds. Luckily, the drive home was surprisingly smooth. We set off at around 6.15 and arrived in Bangsar in under half an hour! That was not expected.

So, we had plenty of time before berbuka. After I overate last night, I decided to keep things simple.
