So, it was not pause yet. That would be tomorrow. Regardless, I have already cancelled clinic for today, but as planned, I went in for my morning rounds.
Unfortunately, that lasted past noon. But, I still get to take Anita out for shopping and prepare for Ramadan. And for dinner, we were invited to sample the Ramadan buffet at Shangri-La as they were tuning it up for tomorrow.
The selection was amazing, which you would expect with an RM 290 price tag. They have outside stalls for tidbits for berbuka, ranging from pisang goreng, apam balik, kebab to satay of course. And then came the heavy stuff - some proper seafood, sashimi, Chinese, Indian and Malay section, as well as Italian. And then came the desserts .... OMG!
Just look at the drinks selection. The had Anita's favourite - sweetcorn and soybean. And then they had mine - asam boi and sugarcane. On point! Anita was disappointed with the bubur lambok though and we fed that back to the host. My favourite was the double-boiled chicken soup. It was amazing. The asam laksa was not bad either.
Anita was keen enough to bring Idlan this weekend, so we might come again ... and after the meal, we had to plan for sahur later ...
