The Company
I had always wished that I had more time to go out for photowalks. Unfortunately, work gets in the way, especially the Saturday Morning clinics. Those were busy and took away my time to enjoy my weekends.
As a result, most of the friends I went out with last weekend for the Kelby Walk, I have not seen for ages. Some of them may have retired and taking things more easily, and spent at least once a month on an organised photo outings.
Hence, apart from taking snaps, it was also the opportunity to catch up on what had been going on the the past year. We talked politics, family and of course health issues. It was a good thing that the walk was punctuated by a few drink stops.
It certainly was not at all awkward that when we said our goodbyes at the end of the walk, we wished each other the best of luck for the coming year ...
