Haze is Coming

The last year had been great in terms of air quality. We hardly had any haze. But that did not seem to stay for too long. There had been reports of forest fire in Indonesia and the acrid smell of haze was back. From the looks of it, the Indonesian were doing their bit to "clear the air" as they were hosting the 2018 Asian Games.

I could smell it even from my balcony since yesterday. Good thing that it rained heavily this morning. Some of the dust had been washed down. Maybe at least for the coming Raya week.

A quick snap from my balcony clearly showed that the visibility were down to about 5 km. Not a good time to leave my balcony window open - which I loved to do.
