A Long Weekend

The stay in Seoul was both exciting and tiring one. I managed to cram plenty of activities in those couple of days and the Monday off definitely helped me recover. I touched down on Friday morning, having had a very early breakfast while on the flight in.

The transport pick-up was efficient but we were caught in the morning rush hour enroute to the hotel. After checking in and having had a shower, I had time to kill. The meeting started on Friday evening and I took time to explore the town looking for lunch.

A quick trip into town - landed me at Insadong - I had my tummy and camera memory card filled. Definitely plenty of things to see and I returned back to the hotel in time for a short nap and the start of the evening lecture program.

By the time it was done, I was dead tired and soon, I was asleep. Saturday started early and lasted the whole day. I managed to get a couple of hours walk done later that evening around Garosu-gil, stopping at the Apple shops there along the way. The next morning started early with a quick breakfast and the transfer to the airport. Took off before noon and back at home before Maghrib.

But the day didn't end there. I had a wedding to attend. Luckily Monday was a day off - although I was there for the morning rounds. I had a quite walk with Anita later that day before back to work proper in Tuesday. As I said, an exciting and tiring one.
