The usually busy street between my hospital towers …

Going into the fourth day of Movement Restriction, it seemed that the public is starting to really take home the message and understood the reason why the order was put in place. This was of course hammered home by the news of four further deaths from the virus today.

Datuk Hisham gave a superb press conference this lunchtime, spelling out the reasons why it is essential for the orders to be followed and what KKM had been doing behind the scene. It certainly answered plenty of questions from the Rakyat at large as well as reassuring them that although there are many uncertainties in handing such a pandemic, KKM was doing their level best to mitigate the situation.

On the hospital front, the foot traffic was certainly less today. Only half a dozen patients turned up to my usually busy Saturday Morning clinic. Some even called upfront to rearrange their visits. There were also hardly any queue at the food outlets at the hospital when I bought some food for lunch.

The traffic was also lighter, and I was stopped twice at the roadblocks, but a quick wave of my ID badge sorted that one out. I then spent the rest of the evening just watching TV, and of course, surfing the net for juicy gossips. I guess more of the same tomorrow despite it being a Sunday ...
