Mural by the River
Every time I walked by the River of Life in the middle of the city, I could not help to wonder which direction the City Council had in mind to expand the project. The water was still muddy, at times full of rubbish. There was construction going on constantly, in and around the site. It seemed perpetual, and almost three years on, there was hardly any progress.
Now, the buildings on one of the sides were being painted over with an extensive mural - I learned from the Internet that the project was commissioned to the artist Yusof Mahadi.
It was still work in progress. From what I could see, it depicts greeneries and the environment. We shall see how things develop in the coming weeks. Hopefully, it would enhance the experience at the project and of course for us photographers, another attraction to shoot at ...
