RMO Day 15 - Need for a Break
After my couple of calls within a short period, I felt that I could do with a break. Luckily, my schedule was a bit lighter towards the end of the week. I have blocked the clinics a few months back as initially, the Malaysian Society of Haematology was due to have our Annual Meeting from 2nd to 4th April. This would then be followed by a weekend in Penang - which we luckily have not booked for before the outbreak.
I only reopened my clinic on one of those dates, pooled all my patients onto the same slot and hopefully can have some time off, going home early by lunchtime.
My boys will also have their last day of term tomorrow, until their school reopened for the Summer Term on 24th April. However, this would all depend on whether the RMO would still be in effect. Idlan’s exams plans are yet to be confirmed. I could. See that he had been under stress lately. And he coped b going to bed early - which I would support!
From today, the restrictions are tighter with all vehicles being stopped after 8 pm at roadblocks. Things were certainly quiet outside, and with the boys asleep, it had been eerily so even though it was only 9 pm. I could also do with an early night after only back from the hospital at 3 am this morning.
Hoping for a lighter weekend ...
