RMO Day 24 - Changes in Clinic
There is always a plus when you share your clinic with an Infectious Disease Specialist during the COVID-19 outbreak. Our clinic staff would have been appropriately briefed. All the equipment in the clinic would be on the ready. Complete with the flow of patient coming in and out of the clinic room.
All I needed to do was follow what the good ID Doctor did, and life was wonderful!
And the patient seemed to appreciate me wearing a mask and a face shield when examining them. They are also concerned about coming to the hospital for fear of the infection. And the low turn-out in the number in the clinic also helped make the social distancing planning work. Otherwise, the Saturday clinic especially tends to be full.
And another bonus, less number of patient’s family coming to the clinic as well. Ah! Such bliss!
