School is Out
The official announcement was finally made. There will be no formal class until the summer holidays. There will be no prom for Idlan. He will go straight to start his A-levels in September. A bit of a bummer as he would not be meeting his friends, who some of them would be leaving his school for good.
As for Irfan, he already started chilling out. He will start Year 10 in September, gearing up towards GCSE in a couple of years time. He has decided on his subjects and is all set. Not much change in terms of friends at school. Most of them were continuing on.
The year-end school trips were also scrapped. Irfan was supposed to go to Chiang Main in a couple of weeks. That was off. Much to Anita’s relief.
Idlan will no longer be in school uniform next term, and Anita was busy trying to make him look smart. He prefers his uniform as he just needed to put them on when he wakes up in the morning without much thinking. He was also still trying to get around the idea of only studying three subjects for the year. His decision was - Sociology, Economics and Mathematics.
For the coming summer break, Idlan would be taking some music lessons. I have yet to ask Irfan about his plans.
