Early Start at BTS

I had an earlier start than usual today, but not at the hospital. Instead, Anita and I drove to Berjaya Times Square right after the boys got onto the school bus, to send Anita’s nephew, Adam off for his first day at college.

Adam would be starting a two-year diploma program in culinary at Berjaya College today. This would be a big leap for him, and he certainly has been looking forward to this for the last couple of months.

Since we arrived there early, we had breakfast first across the road, and while Adam joined the rest of the group, Anita and I hung around at the nice Starbucks outlet at the ground floor just in case we were needed in the first half an hour.

After Adam had settled in, we drove back to the apartment to drop Anita off, before I started my morning rounds. Tiring but it certainly was worth it ...

Since Berjaya Group own the local Starbucks franchises, they wanted to built them everywhere at BTS

And with the sun shining bright, it was certainly an enjoyable wait. The traffic was also really kind. There was hardly any build-up as I drove back from BTS to the apartment.
