Subdued Celebration
Now that it was announced that the MCO would be extended for a further two weeks, the Chinese New Year would be a downbeat one this time around. The order would only be lifted the week after the celebrations, which would mean no travelling during the year’s festivities. Surely it would be a different one.
Work has also been slowing down in the past week, reflecting the public's apprehension from venturing to hospitals. Might as well since the hospital just updated its Electronic Medical Record system and the change was more palatable with a lower census.
A few of my friends were making noise about not catching up on their hobbies of photography. It looks like the lockdown will extend that wait further. Looking at my schedule, I should have some time off during the Chinese New Year. After the events of the past couple of months, it would probably be a good idea to just take it easy for a week or two.
