Sad to See
Businesses were suffering during the pandemic, and even the more established ones suffered. Since the boys were toddlers, we frequented the Spring Garden, a Chinese restaurant on the top floor of Suria KLCC. They loved the flossed prawns and fried rice from there. The waitresses had seemed them grew up over the years and knew exactly what we would order every time we called in.
Unfortunately, the outlet has closed in the last month. They were clearly struggling since the lockdown. Kinda sad to see it, but in the broader scheme of things, it was inevitable. In fact, I was surprised that they did not scale down any earlier. Life must go on, though ... There are hundreds of other shops and restaurants suffering a similar fate. Life post-pandemic is not going to be a smooth one ...
