The Iconic Steps

The escalator across from Nu Central to the Monorel station in Brickfields has fast becoming the city's icon. A simple but elegant design, it was practical in shielding the pedestrian from the elements. At the same time created its own identity.

It would be nice if a similar design element could be taken up by other escalators in town. It could create a sort of identity for the city. But I guess simple things like this may never be appreciated. I could not have enough of this, to be honest.
