Jalan-jalan with Anita

After being inspired by the talks at #KLPF2022, Anita has decided to hit the town with her camera. And she was really into it. She also wanted to burn some calories as our morning walk had to be put on hold due to heavy rain.

Halfway to Godown

And I must say that she has an eye for a good photo. The weather was also kind, and we walked during the late afternoon golden hour. Leaving our car at Dataran Merdeka. We passed by Masjid James, the River of Life, towards The Godown. As there was a flea market there, we hung around for a bit.

First time Anita been to The Godown

We were treated by a performance from a Gamelan troupe at The Godown

It was too late to stop at a cafe, so we returned home just before sundown. And the photos she uploaded to Facebook were excellent, I thought. She planned to do more in the coming weeks, although she is still not keen to use a normal camera. Being a left-hander, she felt that the weight of the camera makes her uncomfortable on her right hand. Maybe, in time, she would borrow one of my cameras and see how it feels. Early days still.
