240127 Diary

A day full of meat. Literally. I had meat for lunch. And meat for dinner. And as I was writing this, I was in a stupor, and about to go to sleep!

After my morning rounds, we went to Kyomo for lunch before Irfan's appointment with Judith for a hair trim. Of course the lean cuts there were gorgeous and I could not stop myself from having a hefty chunk.

Then, later in the evening, I was invited for dinner hosted by the hospital for members of the MAB. We were treated with a nice dinner at Fritz, on the 24th floor - they called it 23A obviously - of the Troika. Since the order were made a few weeks back, I actually ordered lamb ribs for my main. And now, I am regretting it! So many calories to burn.

The restaurant had a gorgeous view of KLCC Park and the city skyline. Unfortunately, the Twin Towers were obscured by the Four Seasons Hotel. I was sure, the view was more spectacular when the place was first built, with the park sprawling on the lower parts.

Dinner was excellent and the music was good. I won a Galaxy Watch at the lucky draw, but with the main prizes included an iPhone 15 Pro Max and a Rimowa bag, it was not such a big win after all. But, it was fun none the less ...

Definitely an evening to remember. Great company and great chat. Also, it was mentioning that I bumped into Adam when I walked across the road to Perdana Hotel for prayers as Troika does not have a public surau.
