240227 Diary

After a good night sleep, I woke up full of zest. Unfortunately, it was tampered when I got a phone call from the Emergency Department about an early admission. Ward round was done in time to see the patient at the emergency before I started my long morning clinic.

Despite many interruptions, I managed to finish by 1 pm, when I had to attend a department meeting. Such was provided of course, so I went straight for the afternoon rounds after that.

It was not time for home yet as I still have a few referrals to see as well a couple of planned admissions. By the time I was done, it was past 6.30 and the drive home was a breeze. Dinner after that before sorting out paperworks for the day ... and another day went by!
