Discharged

It was a Public Holiday last Tuesday. The plan was to do a quick rounds in thd morning followed by a quiet lunch with the family and then taking some of our stuff from the house to our storage space. Unfortunately, my father-in-law had a bad turn and we brought him to my Casualty.

After some check-up we found that he was in heart failure and would need a couple days of diuretics. He certainly felt much better after some rest and frequent trips to pass urine. And he was being discharged today.

There had been some adjustment to his medications and in the coming weeks, we needed to keep a close eyes on the changes. He also complained of sore right shoulder, apparently from previous rugby injury from his playing days.

He is nicely tucked away at his home in Gombak for the time being ...
