Future Harapan

I don’t think getting cepat kaya and getting DBKL to close the Myanmar Embassy will happen any time soon …

The word Harapan had entered the public vocabulary big time, no doubt inspired by Pakatan Harapan's win in the last General Election. It is bordering on rebranding the old BN programs and projects into new names.

While walking around Bangsar Village the other day, I encountered an initiative termed Harapan. But this time it was on a group of stickers where we spell out out "Harapan" or hope moving forward with the new Malaysia.

Colourful and cheerful, I spent some time reading the writings.

Plenty of optimistic messages there and tying in with Hari Merdeka and Hari Malaysia, a lot of similar programs were blossoming in town. Nice to see but I wasn't sure if this was just tapping into our sense of euphoria with the recent events ...
