CNY Coming Soon

Xmas was done and that usually means with the turn of a new year, the Chinese New Year would be around the corner. Everywhere I look since last weekend, there were plenty of hints of just that.

The shopping malls were starting to display lanterns and you could see red everywhere. The weather had also turned dry making going out for walks during weekends that much more convenient.

I have yet to plan for the CNY breaks and if I had some time off, I might join some friends doing photo walks on the day. Usually they would go in a group to photograph temples and ceremonies. The streets would also be emptier during the celebrations which meant navigating the city that much easier.
