My morning rounds took longer than I planned despite setting off early. Few referrals to sort out, followed by late admissions, meant that it was just after 11 am when I reached home. The original plan was to take a hike at Taman Tugu. Anita was already tired waiting for me and to be honest, I was kind of hungry by the time I reached home.

So, the decision was an easy one. To take a Grab out for lunch.

It was the right decision since traffic was really awful when we reached Pavilion. Imagine trying to get a parking spot in this sort of jam? We had a lovely lunch - Arab food. Then to burn off the calories, walked across to KLCC through the pedestrian bridge.

Upon reaching the convention centre, we were stunned to see the number of people lining up to get into Aquaria! Thank God our kids had already grown out and preferred to stay at home. Another stop for coffee before mingling with the crowd at the packed Suria KLCC. They had some show going on at the main foyer, and the place was full.

We set off home by 3 pm, after waiting almost 20 minutes for our Grab ride. It started to rain by the time we reached Bangsar, and I spent the rest of the day just chilling, and catching up on the episodes of “Lost in Space”. I had a few more long days before the new year. So, time to just rest and looking forward to the rest of the year ...
