At Publika with Mum

It was becoming rare these days that I was able to take my Mum shopping. But being my Birthday and all, we decided to have a nice afternoon out, going for lunch and then heading out to Publika. We decided to have lunch near Bukit Antarabangsa not to be caught up with the crowd. We decided to give Pegaga a visit. The last time we were there, it must have been more than two years ago - Ba was still around then.

I must say, the food there was better than expected, and I gobbled down the daging salai in double quick time. It was really nice. Then it was Publika.

There was the usual weekend bazaar being held there at the main foyer and this time around they had a few stalls from Korea. Mum took a liking on some of them, and we wished that Julia and her daughters were around. They would have loved that!

After browsing around, we went to the first floor where Anita had a couple of shops in mind for a quick look. Mum loved English bone china tableware, and an antique shop, there certainly whetted her appetite. She bought some scarves before going to the next shop where Anita showed her some tablewares from Holland.

Anita was not happy with the price and instead ordered online to be delivered from overseas. We shall see ...

We topped off the outing with coffee and cakes before driving Mum back to Bukit Antarabangsa. A nice outing actually. I must say I started to doze off after the heavy lunch we had and promptly took a nap the moment I reached the apartment ...
