After her last travels to India, the travel bug had caught my Mum again. Again her friends asked her to follow along, and this time it was further away. She will be at the Baltic states for the next week, in a group of 34 Malaysians in a tour bus.

Last Saturday evening, we send her to KLIA - after celebrating Nana’s birthday. We were there by 10 pm, as the flight would be after 2 am. The first leg would be to Doha, with connection to Skopje after a couple of hours transit.

We got to the airport early, had dinner before meeting up with the rest of the group. The check-in was done by midnight, and since I was on call the next day, I had to leave early after she settled in with her group.

Luckily for us, the problem with the computerised check-in which plagued KLIA the week before had been solved. No complications this time. The group check-in went smoothly, and she received her boarding pass all the way to Skopje. She would be back on Malaysia Day, which again, unfortunately, I will be on call ...
