Ampang Park 2020

For those among us who grew up in Kuala Lumpur, one way or the other, Ampang Park would hold a place in our hearts. For me, it was one of my earliest memories of taking a ferries wheel and going to a mall during the weekend. It was one of the first shopping malls in town and in the last few years, were the spot we go to to get our Raya clothes.

It has since been demolished, and work was underway to build an underground MRT network underneath the old spot.

The overpass from Intermark to Ampang Park LRT station provided a great vantage point to see what was going on down there. It has been levelled, but the work proper has yet to be started. I was sure that would begin soon. It definitely brought the old memories flooding back in ...

Hopefully, the planned build would go smoothly, with and end product befitting the old mall. I was not sure what will turn up in the end, so let's watch …
