CNY at Suria

On my last stop at Suria KLCC, I had the chance to see what the decorations were like. It happened to be the launch for the festivities for the mall, but the speeches and the event, on the whole, left me uninspired. And this had consistently been the case with Suria KLCC in the last few years.

The area by the fountain retained the same frame from the Xmas tree, but this time the exterior was changed to look like a pagoda. Not ground-breaking and certainly a disappointment for a premier shopping mall in the City Centre on the first few weeks of Visit Malaysia Year 2020. They could have done a lot more ...

Nothing much to photograph, and the main foyer was cordoned off for the launch event. I could count a handful of reporters jostling about, but most of them looked rather bored. Truth be told, just as the whole decoration they had in store, it was just pretty lame ...
