IGCSE Time

2020 will come with its own little baggage. Idlan would be sitting for his IGCSE. And with the mock coming up right after the Xmas break was over, he has to start going even though the exam proper would in April/May.

His syllabus and subjects were not exactly something I am used to. He decided to take up triple Sciences, with Mathematics, Psychology, Media Studies and Business Studies. On top of that, there would be Bahasa Malaysia and two English papers. His Chemistry and Biology looked heavy. He was looking forward more to his A-levels instead and has already made up his mind as to which subjects to read.

He was clearly still in holiday mood and forcing him to sit down to revise, took some doing. With his brother still enjoying his breaks and sleeping late at night playing online games, the temptations were definitely there.

Our maid had also been away for Xmas back to the Philippines. Anita had been busy doing house chores and the likes, but she was back yesterday. So, Anita would be able to have some free time and supervise Idlan while I am at work. This weekend would be a long one with plenty to cover and past year papers to go through.
