Getting Organised

Over the years, I have collected plenty of camera gears and accessories. Some of them are still being used regularly, while some others, maybe heading out from my storage for good. I still need to figure out what best to do with them.

Moving forward, I plan to stick to just Leica and Fujifilm. I have invested heavily on them, and during the Merdeka weekend, I bought an extra dry cabinet to get my gears in order. I now have to decide what should stay in the cabinet and which one to carry around.

It looks like the GR III would be permanently in the bag due to sheer portability. As for doing the primary camera, it would rotate around, I think depending on how I was feeling. Since the turn of the year, it appeared that my go-to gear had been the GFX 50R with the 50 mm prime. Compact for a medium format setup. I also enjoyed taking around the SL2 with the 35 mm Summilux-M. Manual focus but comfortable in the hands.

I also had decided to take up a particular genre as I develop my photography skills. At the moment, I am into panoramic capture, which is straight forward with the GFX. After almost 4 months of being trapped at home during the MCO really make me yearn for photowalks and travelling. And I plan to do plenty of those time permitting soon.
