RMO Day 17 - Doctor's Day Gift

Amid the busy fight against COVID-19, I received a message from one of my patient on Facebook, wishing me a Happy Doctor’s Day. That was last Monday, 30th March. Usually, the Hospital would organise some lunch for us. Obviously observing social distancing, this is just not possible.

But they did the next best thing. Giving us a surprise present. And nothing more relevant than the gift of a box of surgical mask!

When Anita learned about it, she was more excited. It looked like she will be donning one the next time she drives out for groceries - which I am sure will be tomorrow ...

Looks like my initial plan for a quiet weekend would have to be delayed. I have a couple new patients to sort out, and they can’t be discharged quickly with the current travel restrictions ... Back to work tomorrow!
