A Full Day

Saturday started off with an early breakfast, followed by a late morning visits to my eldest Uncle and an Aunt in Penang. We managed to get things organised early on, followed by the search for nasi kandar. Now, this was when things got rather interesting ...

We were told to head to Mohd Raffee Restaurant. It was just past midday and the queue had reached the whole block! And getting a parking slot was just impossible. Next, it was Nasi Kandar Kampung Melayu. Managed to reach there but it was closed!

We decided to go to Gurney Plaza for lunch. After a quick look in the crowded mall, none of the eatery was agreeable to my Mum. My Sister did some quick shopping before we finally settled for Kassim Nasi Kandar, all the way near Komtar. It was almost 3 pm when we finally had our lunch!

Oh boy, wasn’t lunch great? All of us were ready for an afternoon nap when we returned back to the hotel. But I had other plans ... And I managed to drag Anita on a trishaw to Armenian Street ... and a quick meal for our upcoming anniversary.

Since my Sister planned to return to KL the next morning, all of us had another bite in her room at the hotel. I swear that I must have put on a couple of kilos for the trip alone ...
