Check the Crowd Out

I guess the new normal concept has not seeped into everyone’s daily routine as yet. I was shocked when I went to Padang Kota during my recent trip to Penang. Despite RELA staffs taking details at the entrance, the place was too packed to practice any meaningful social distancing.

All the tables were opened, and the queue was long. Not to mention the majority of those lining up in the queue were either not wearing a mask or the masks being pulled down to their chin. Plus, the waiters were leaning forward to near the patron’s face to hear the order Ince the place was just too loud.

Then the were the issues with children. I can even seen babies being brought along. There was nothing much for me to add really …
