240303 Diary
It has been a fruitful Sunday. Anita and I went out for breakfast at Pelita before I started my morning rounds. After my work was done, Idlan came along for lunch. As Ramadan was around the corner, I had been craving for some proper barbecue. So, off to Kyomo we went.
And it certainly hit the spot. The modern cut which we ordered really came out well, and we left the restaurant full. Even the salad tasted good this time around. We thought of not ordering too much meat at first, but as things were going, we had to ask for extra. The wagyu really tasted good today.
The TNB technician contacted me to come over to fix the electricity this morning when I was at the hospital. So, we had to change the schedule to the afternoon. He found out that one of the fuse supplying our unit had burnt out. They changed it free of charge, on a Sunday! So, the wifi in the rooms were back on! And so was Netflix at the TV area.
We also spent the afternoon cleaning up our cars. A lot of junk accumulated which needed to be thrown away. And we ended the weekend watching Dune Part 2. As the movie was just released a couple of days ago, the tickets were running fast. Luckily we reserved the seats last weekend ... and it was spectacular. The take home message I learned from the movie this time was, Bene Gesserit were bunch of intergalactic scheming bitches! And it could do with at least another instalment.
