Lanterns Video

Trying out the new GoPro 9 at Pavilion KL. The Mid-Autumn Festival was in full swing and the lanterns are all up ...

The colourful spectacle at Pavilion also gave me the chance to try out my new GoPro. Certainly they coped very well in terms of colour rendition, but what impressed me more was the stabilisation. It was better than the Sony ZV-1 although it lost out in terms of colour and the ability to zoom. The audio recording was also superior with the Sony, but no point having a nice video when they were not stabilised.

Another issue worth exploring would be the ability of the GoPro to capture 4K videos at 60 fps natively. It was a blessing and I certainly prefer that. To get 60 fps on the Sony, I have to dial the resolution down to 1080p. It looks like I will be using the GoPro for a bit more!
