Serene Morning Walk
We have decided to have more exercises together. For the last few weeks, Anita and I would take at least a 3 km walk each Sunday and Thursday morning - weather and work permitting, of course. It certainly had been a good break to my routine, where Thursday would be my day without clinic, and the walk would mark the start of my second half of the week.
The morning sun had also been great lately, with rain only coming in in the afternoon. The walk usually lasts around 45 minutes, and we would go straight for a quick breakfast before I start my morning ward round.
Our favourite destination was Taman Botani Perdana - the old Lake Garden - only 10 minutes drive from home. Parking was also straightforward and safe. The park also tended to be less crowded, mainly senior citizens making the circuit. Who would have thought there was a nice patch of greenery in the middle of the city.
