A Bit of the Outdoors
One thing I really missed with the lockdown was my outdoor activities. Looking at my Facebook profile, the time prior to Chinese New Year usually meant a flurry of photographic opportunities. There were plenty of photowalks, traditionally coupled with sunny afternoons we get around this time of the year.
The weather remained partly sunny, but certainly going out for a photo walk was not an option. Another couple of weeks of lockdown, we would hear again from the Government if it were to be extended. But even when it is lifted, I doubt that Anita would be impressed with me walking around town taking photos with the risk of infection being high before the vaccine being available.
With my role as a frontline, I would be among the earliest to have the vaccine. But the date of the roll-out remained unclear.
Craving for sunshine, I decided to spend a good hour out at my balcony after work yesterday. Despite the gloomy weather and lack of traffic outside, it was still lovely to be out rather than cooked indoors. The first thing I would do once the lockdown is lifted would be to go out in the park ...
