Another Week
With the announcement (or rather non-announcement) that the MCO would be perpetually extended depending on the average number of new cases, my friends and colleague's mood was generally downbeat. We all don't mind following rules, but it needed to be transparent and clear-cut. This just added more to the confusion and uncertainty, which had been the hallmark of MCO 3.0.
As such, it made it difficult for me to plan ahead. What should I do during the next Aidil Adha? When I can arrange to service my car. All these little and individual things mount up. And this is frustrating.
The boys would be looking at more time at home. Anita is not sure if her Mum were to stay longer with us, or should she go back to Gombak? When will this end? I don't think Anita is happy being cooked up at home this long. We enjoy our hiking and walks in town. I would not mind a quick stop at a cafe, just people watching.
So, it looked like another week of waiting, with no clear exit plans.
