Drive to Bangsar Village
Anita and I decided to go out for a take-out and see for ourselves if our neighbourhood is on lockdown or not. When we checked in the news, it was not explicitly mentioned if we were under the EMCO protocol or just following the usual lockdown property.
But, nothing really has changed. We did our groceries and picked up our dinner. The road was busy - busier than I expected. And the supermarket was packed.
But other business outlets remained closed. No bookstores. The pharmacy was opened as usual. It left the mall looking half-abandoned. While waiting for our food, I went through my Twitter feed. There were plans for another power transition. Definitely, the politicians were making a mockery of the whole situation. While the country continues to suffer ...
Another week passed. Monday again tomorrow. The boys were approaching their last week of term before the end of their school year.
