Back to School

The exam results were out. Idlan would be starting university soon while Irfan was back to school for his A-Levels last Monday. The first day of a new beginning.

He has been looking forward to being a six-former, having been to Alice Smith for the last five years. He also made up his mind as far as his A-level subjects are concerned. Biology, Chemistry and English Literature. He is contemplating a fourth subject, but it won't be Maths or Physics.

He likes to be unconventional, as always. As for their career path, he is keen to read Medicine at university but open to pursuing other ventures after he graduates. I like his take that a Medical degree does not mean you have to be a Doctor. Well, maybe Medical School will change his mind ...

He was tired after a couple of days he was back. I have a meeting with his teacher later this week to finalize his choice. He seemed to be very happy with his start.
