Almost every season, when it comes to mall decorations, the venue to beat would be Pavilion Kuala Lumpur. This Xmas, the decor was up right after the Deepavali ones were dismantled. The was a giant peacock at the main foyer but now, the Xmas trees were up instead.

And the decorations did not just stop there. It went all the way to the Bukit Bintang entrance, decorating the famous fountain as well. And the theme this year seemed to incorporate Disney and Mickey Mouse. Apparently, this year marked the 90th anniversary of the famous mouse, and they were everywhere.

There were also competitions previously where the local could design their own Mickey Mouse and some of the works were outstanding.

The major drawback with Pavilion was the huge crowd there every weekend. Parking and driving in through traffic was a major headache and the last time I went there, I parked at KL Sentral and took the MRT there instead. Even then, navigating through the packed lobby and trying to get a decent photo was a big ask.

I ended up just watching and admiring from afar. Might as well enjoy some coffee while I was at it ... In the whole, Pavilion remained the place to beat in KL.
