Goodbye Jakarta
Come Sunday - the final day of the conference - most of the speakers had left early. My colleague and I stayed until later since we were unclear about the scheduling. I bought my tickets early and was not able to change since I used some of my air miles for the trip.
This gave me a chance to do a bit of photography as well as having a wonderful lunch with a photographer friend in Jakarta.
When the time came to leave the hotel, I wished that Anita followed along, and we were able to stay another night just to do more exploration. I did not even much chance to shop in the end.
Compared to when I arrived in Jakarta, the travel back to the airport was a smooth one. We were there after half an hour, and was already at the terminal, having cups of coffee an hour after that. There were no flight delays as well, but the return flight was full. I had my meal on the plane, reaching my apartment at around 11 pm.
Since the flight was only a couple of hours, maybe Anita should try this sector once she was able to fly. It was long enough to be exciting but not too long to cause a ruckus!
