Xmas Decorations at Pavilion

Every year, I would look forward to the decorations at Pavilion. They have consistently brought the feel-good factor back. The dull English winters during my days in the UK certainly needed cheering up and staying at home back then for me was never an option. Ever since I returned back, I have always like to enjoy the decorations at the malls. It brings back memories.

Most malls had been hot and cold as far as decorations are concerned. None ore obvious that KLCC. They tended to repeat their formulas year in and year out. And being the premier shopping mall in the country, I can’t help but expect that bit more. Certainly, Pavilion Mall had always stepped up to the plate. This year was no exception.

Despite the pandemic on our minds, the decorations were decent. It may not be as grand as the years before, but it was enough. And my worry when I went to visit there last Sunday was the crowd control. There were hardly any. The place was packed, and the parking lot was full.

I did not linger for too long for that reason. We arrived there well before noon, had our early lunch and after a short walk my tiny video camera - using the DJI Pocket 2 which literally fit snugly into my pocket - we were home before 2 pm.

I had a webinar to attend right after that, so the timing was just perfect. Definitely worth a visit, but definitely the crowd is a risk. I have a video to be uploaded on the next entry.
