This Place. Is Huge!
It was a Sunday, after all. After our morning walk, I headed out for my Sunday morning ward round. By 10.30, I was already back home.
One of my patients pointed out that he was at Pavilion Bukit Jalil last weekend. Taking the hint from him, we decided to venture there. It was only 20 minutes away in the light Sunday morning traffic. We aimed to take our lunch there. So, the primary mission was food.
Parking was aplenty, and we were left in awe the moment we stepped into the mall. The place was huge. Although only around 30% of the shops were opened, we were already exasperated. Imagine when things were moving at full tilt in the future!
The main concourse was filled with the upcoming Chinese New Year decorations. There was also a large square by the main entrance, and during the visit, there was a bonsai fare going on.
The only problem was not many of the food outlets were opened. The main food court will only be ready in a couple of months. The restaurants were already packed by noon. And it was clear the new outlets were still getting familiarised with the setup and were slow to cope.
After a quick tour, we left to take our lunch elsewhere in town. Will definitely visit there again, but I would probably avoid weekends. This place will be packed!
