Saturday Afternoon Talk

Last weekend, I got the chance to participate in a webinar organised by the Cardiologist in town. It was casted live on the web and was also recorded simultaneously for future edits. And it was done in front of a green screen. Literally.

I was surprised at the work going on behind the scene, as well as the level of technical support on the show. From the lighting, camera, sound, not to mention the real-time editing and direction. Wow! The viewers also had live voting while we were on the air.

It was clear that the company behind this had it all figured out. There had several studios - I entered the wrong one at the start. They pivoted well during the pandemic and now took advantage of the surge in webinars, not just in the Medical CME field. Looks like a setup such as this will be common, at least for the next year.
