Exploring Putrajaya Pt 2
continuing from part 1 …
The route took us along the lakeside, 13.3 km in all, mainly on flat ground. There were the odd climbs, but they were not a problem. With the cloud cover, we were not completely exposed to the hot sun, which was searing by 11 am. And the open landscape also provided us with plenty of cool breezes.
One unique thing about Putrajaya was the many bridges. Our route took us under them. A new perspective. There were also plenty of cafes along the route for us to stop for drinks, but as we already had plans for lunch, we skipped those. We also passed by a few landmarks along the way - Dataran Floria, Masjid Besi, Monumen Alaf Baru to name a few.
We were done just after 11 am and were longing for the next outing. We will try the same route again, but this time, we plan to make a few stops along the way. I might bring my 360 camera along on the next ride as well. There were plenty to see on around there and the main thing is, the route was safe and not too taxing.
